Review: Another book that fits comfortably in under the definition of “really good fun”. It’s not deep (at least not yet), probably extremely derivative when seen through the eyes of anyone who has read or seen a lot of sci-fi, and most of it can be read without really thinking about what is going on, but just enjoying the ride. It takes a little while to get started, but quickly turns into pretty decent fast-paced action.

It’s also the first of what is apparently going to be a 75-book series, of which the first 19 have been released so far.

It’s definitely a series I see myself catching up on, and that is saying something. It will be interesting to see where it goes.
