Reaper Man

The story follows Death who has been fired by the Auditors of Reality for developing a personality - something they consider a serious violation of his duties. Forced to live as a mortal, Death travels to the Octarine Grass Country where he assumes the name "Bill Door" and works as a farm hand. Meanwhile, the absence of Death causes chaos in Ankh-Morpork as the undead and underemployed try to find him.
