The Green Mile
Officially released in the year 1996, The Green Mile is a serial novel written by the world renowned author, Stephen King. The Green Mile is a story of a huge black man who is convicted for the rape of two girls. He is not only timid but also very quiet. Despite being exceedingly quiet he still possess the power to heal people by touch. After releasing this book, Stephen King was widely criticised for creating a magical black character. Originally, The Green Mile was released as a six book serial novel, however, later on it was republished into a single volume.
